RETURN / EXCHANGE POLICY
Collars, Leashes & Accessories


IMPORTANT NOTE:

All return/exchange requests must be made via email to aftercare@californiacollarco.com.  Our aftercare department will contact you within 24 hours of receipt of your request. 

Any items returned to us that have been broken in, are creased, wrinkled, dirty or damaged will be returned to you and no refund or exchange shall be given.  There are absolutely no exceptions to this or any of our other return/exchange policies.



'READY TO WEAR' ITEMS: 

• RTW items can be returned for a full refund of purchase price (less shipping fees) within 14 days of delivery. 
If you'd like to exchange your RTW item, the cost of the RTW item will be applied toward the cost of the new item.
• Any items that have been worn or broken in are not eligible for refund or exchange.

USTOMIZABLE' ITEMS:
  

• Due to their specialized nature, we can't issue full refunds on any of our customizable items.
• A 40% waste fee is charged on all returns, regardless of reason, and shipping fees are not refundable.
• If you wish to exchange your non-personalized item for a different color, style or size, a 20% exchange fee will apply.
• This exchange fee is independent of any price difference there might be between exchanged items.
• All return/exchange requests must be made within 14 days of delivery.
• Any items that have been worn or broken in are not eligible for refund or exchange. 


'PERSONALIZED' ITEMS:
• We do not issue refunds or exchanges on personalized items of any kind unless a mistake is made on our end. 
• Personalized items include ID Tags or any collar, harness or leash with a nameplate attached.



RETURN SHIPPING CHARGES:  We do not cover shipping charges on returns or exchanges for any reason.

Custom Harnesses



Refunds:  Each harness is custom made for each individual dog.  Due to this fact, we can't issue monetary refunds on our harnesses for any reason.  There are no exceptions to this policy.

Complimentary Adjustments:  If there's a fit issue with your harness, we'll adjust it for you free of charge.  We'll need you to email us before sending your harness back so we can discuss which adjustments need to be made.  Return shipping is your responsibility, but we'll cover the cost of shipping the harness back to you after it's been adjusted. 

The complimentary adjustment period for our harnesses is 30 days from delivery.  Any adjustment requests made after the 30-day grace period will be subject to a repair and return shipping fee.
